OS: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.3 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or AMD Phenom II x4 940 @ 3.0 GHz
RAM: 6 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (2 GB VRAM)
DirectX: Version 11
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers
Hard Drive Space: 50 GB available space

Recommended Specs:

Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or better
RAM: 8 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290X (3 GB VRAM)

This is what you would require, since you are on the LGA 1155 socket, just grab a I5 2500K then OC, you can keep the amount of RAM you have and then just get a GTX 680 or higher :p

The entire PC. None of your specs, except for maybe the RAM, meet the minimum requirements. You'll need something like this:

He really doesnt need a whole new PC, he is on the LGA 1155 socket and he can just nab upgrades at around 300-400 dollars.

I would recommend atleast for smooth performance an I5 2500K, I7 2600 and what ever your mobo can support, please tell me your mobo. Then nab yourself a R9 280.

I am going to assume that it's an H61 board.
In that case, getting an i5 3330 is possible, but you may need a BIOS update. But I don't think you will. :p
You will also need to upgrade your graphics card if you want to play AC Unity.
I would wait untill you have enough money for both the CPU and the GPU,that way the build is gonna be more balanced. :)
