I'm building a PC and I want to know which is a good gpu because my friend is selling them. Still currently buying my components.

Obviously the Gigabyte R9 280x its the fastest among them followed by HD 7970 and at last gtx 760 actually gtx 760 doesn't actually competes with them the more appropriate competition would be gtx 770.

GPU prices ups and down so much few days ago newegg was selling MSI twin frozer R9 290 for $ 229 after rebate. :) unfortunately after 5-6 days the price was $285

Buy the 1st two and CrossFire 'em (basically a 7990 on the benchmarks). I ran that setup for 2 years, max out any game at 1080P. There is No single GPU that can match that level of performance. Only reason you would need more GPU power, 1440P monitor which recently bought. So, upgraded to 295x2 also tried SLI 970's (the 970's are faster....so kept them an sent back the 295x2...)

Oh but I'm from Canada I don't know if they have pc components sales here aha
