I need to validate my microsoft license using my product key on my acer aspire 5920G series laptop so that I can use word, excel, powerpoint, publisher and one note for college and online course on the vision to learn website but I tried using mine on the back of the laptop however it wouldn't accept it. What do I do?!

When you bought Microsoft Office, you would have either received an email with the product key (if purchased online) or you would have the box that the install CDs came in which would also contain the product key.

More than likely you laptop has a demo version of office (60 or 90 days). very few laptops come with a full version of office on them. The key on you laptop is for WINDOWS, not Office. You will need to purchase a copy of office.
