I am looking to build my first gaming desktop as a step up from my old laptop. My budget is 850-900 including the OS and monitor, 1080 for my monitor would be what i'm shooting for. WoW is my current game, but with this i'm hoping to be able to play and enjoy some of the new FPS's coming out. Looking at buying in the next 1-2 weeks, any and all help is appreciated

Including the monitor and OS, this will probably get you about the best performance possible ... if you had an extra $150, I'd say make the GPU a GTX 970, but you can always upgrade that later and sell the old one.

edit: Left out the hard drive, duh. Seagate Barracuda or WD Caviar Blue there. You can drop down the CPU to one of the others suggested above to make up the $30 over budget if need be.
