I was wondering if 2 gtx 580s running in sli would be enough to run battlefield and metro at 1440p at 60 fps. They are the 3gb versions. I am looking to get an Asus pb278q monitor. I am not a competive gamer but I do like to run settings as high as they go.

Also, any advise on an alternative monitor. Thanks.

Yes they can but you will have stuttering with SLI'S i would get the 970 and play at 1440p and have no problems and stuttering Some games do not support Sli so you should just get the 970 (300-400$) and have no sttutering and no problems and have over 60 fps maxed out
