Hi, i am playing COD -Advanced Warfare but with my current rig i am barely making it run on my system by the skin of it's teeth,i have to play the game at the lowest settings possible but still it lags at high graphics areas. As far as i know about computer i am sure the only thing letting me down is my graphics unit which is a nvidia gt 610 2 gb ddr3.....besides that my rig includes a amd fx 4300 4ghz quad-core black edition and a 8 gb ddr3 ram with a 1tb hdd. I want to play these next-gen games anywhere between mid to high setting but my budget is for a graphics card is not more that 11k. Can anybody suggest me a graphics card for this preference which can run on a smps of 550 w to 600 w

Solution
yes go for it and the PSU can handle this card even when its overclocked since the card does not require more than 90 watts on stock mode

The 610 is a dirty diaper, its not meant for gaming. Its used for dual monitor support or htpc viewing.

Also look for the 7950's new version, exact same card rebranded as the r9 280. I recently got one for $169. edit: just saw ^ second link, thats a great deal.

Are you kidding me? this card is amazing its better than the 270x the 280 is a rebranded 7950 and the 270x is not cheaper

Thanks for the reply guys.....and yes i am from India so the pricing will not do me any help but i checked the graphics cards you recommended and it is coming at around 16k but i will have to stay between the 11 k budget cause i have to also buy a power unit of 600watt as i currently have a 450 watt so buying the card and the smps will come in a total of 16k hence and i cannot go beyond that at this moment ...can you suggest any cards below the ones above ..that might fit in the 11k tag...thanks

i checked the price for the 7870 and the 750 ti on the indian website and there a price difference of 4-5 thousand ..i am not sure if it is the same in the international market....all i want is to play the next gen games at mid-high settings lag free so if the 750ti can suffice that i am good to go as it fits my budget perfectly

wow ..that a good news for me cause i was saving some bucks wondering if i may have to buy a smps along with the card but if my 450 watt can handle that then i am all set ..i did check the website and it showed the required power supply as 600 watt ...i am sharing the link of that website and please let me know if i have a green signal for buying this card without having to upgrade the 450 watt power unit..thanks
