Hello, i'd like to OC my FX-8350 to 5GHz. Here is my build:http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KgwLbv
It gets too hot with just a multiplier OC, so i need to know how to do a BUS OC. Thanks!

is that core temps? or socket temp? max core temp is 61.1°C, max socket temp is 70°C.

Are you overclocking through bios or software? It shouldnt matter if you do multiplier or bus OC, the cpu will get just as hot. With bus oc your heating up components on the motherboard to add to the heat. To be honest, if you have 8 cores at 4.8ghz, thats pretty good for a 24/7 stable machine. You wont see too much real world increase from another 200mhz. What are you trying to achieve specifically? performance in a particular game/app? or just the feat of hitting 5ghz?
