Hi, guys.
Lately, I've been thinking about buying a new graphic card for my PC and I have a few questions that I hope you can answer.
My MOBO has a PCI-e 2.0 port and I'm planning on buying a PCI-e 3.0 card (Nvidia Geforce GTX 750ti 2Gb DDR5). The question is: Is PCI-e 3.0 backward compatible with 2.0?
Another thing is, I have a AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor, Is it worth it to buy that GPU? Or I won't get the most out of it and I should go for something lower? A 1Gb GPU, for example.
Finally, my PC is running on a 500w power source and I know I'll have to get a bigger one. Any suggestions on what should I aim for?
I hope I left everything clear, and I'm sorry if there's any spelling mistake (english is not my mother tongue).
Thanks in advance.

yes its PCIe is all backwards compatible. you dont have to worry about that. the amount of ram on the GPU is also not a hugely deciding factor on gaming performance (although they try to market them that way). and even a cheapo 500 watt power supply is plenty for that setup. the gtx 750 ti has like one of the lowest power consumptions out of all entry level graphics cards these days.
