Hello all, I seem to be having
a major problem I installed a new 980 GTX inside my mid size tower a couple days ago. Everything was running really good I was getting very good FPS in new games on Ultra settings at 1080p.
No noise either from the card very quiet.

Anyways when I was playing a game earlier today it completely shut down and would not turn back on I tried taking out the PSU and re installing it and nothing changed. I even tried changing the cords/outlets.

I am so deprreseed because it was doing so well and I swore I had a big enough case and PSU.

I have a intel i7 4770k, gigabyte MB, 8gb ram, and a Rosewell 1000w PSU.
The case is a mid size case like this

Please help me I don't know much about computers and I need somebody to help me. I don't know who I should bring it to fix...

Also, if I did fry the MB is it possible I can still keep the GTX 980 and Processor?

If you can take the card and install it on a different system that can handle it go ahed and do that. At new games on ultra @ 1080p the card should not be very quiet unless you are far away or the fans don't run, which in worst case (hopefully not) cooked your card.
