Hello everyone.
I built a custom PC six months ago and I have little problem while building it, but in the end everything turn out alright and it run perfectly normal until yesterday.
Yesterday, while playing video games I noticed that CPU fan run really loud. I thought it may be cause by the game I'm playing. Therefore, I quit game and surfing web for a while (CPU fan still running really loud). Then, I turn off and go to sleep. Next morning, when I turn on the computer, i saw a message said "CPU fan error" and "CPU temperature error" and it asked to press F1 to go to setup mode (CPU fan still run really loud, it even louder than last night). I pressed and it bring me to setup mode. I notice that my CPU tempure is 88 Celsius degrees and still going up. Then, I clicked to advance setting and checked, i found out that CPU fan is not detected. I turn off computer and open the case to check. The CPU wire still connect with CPU fan slot located on motherboard. In addition, CPU fan light still on and there no sign it broken or something.
I didn't overclock my computer.
Can someone help me, please?
Also this is my PC specs:
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth z87
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K Haswell Quad-Core 3.4GHz LGA 1150
Graphic Card: Gigabyte GTX 780ti 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5
Ram: 8GB (4x2) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650 G 80 PLUS GOLD Certified 650W
CPU Fan: Cooler Master Seidon 120XL
Hard Drive: WD BLACK SERIES WD1003FZEX 1TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s
p/s: Sorry for bad English. I'm still learning it.

That IS water cooling. It's not actually water, but it's liquid. It has a fan and a pump and if either of those doesn't work, it's not going to stay cool. I think maybe you need to read up and learn about your cooling system since apparently you have some confusion regarding how it works.
Check in the BIOS to see what RPM the header that the pump is connected to is reporting. If it's not reporting any RPM for the header the pump is on, the pump has probably failed and isn't pumping coolant through the system. That will definitely cause it to overheat if there is no circulation.

I checked in the BIOS it show CPU fan N/A when I turn on this morning. It also shows N/A for CPU optional fan when I switch connection to CPU optional fan slot.

Buy a new fan. It's cheap and easy to replace.

PS: BIOS temps aren't reliable.

EDIT: You're using water cooling? Then darkbreeze should be correct. Even without a fan a water cooling setup will keep the CPU cool for at least a while.
