okay so let me start off by saying my specs are garbage but I used to be able to play most modern games fine for some reason, like 50+ fps medium settings and league of legends and minecraft max at like 60-80 no problem, weird huh?
so like 5 months ago my computer started acting really retarded, like really slow opening up pages, youtube videos skip every now and then, just feels sluggish. and it's still that way today. now for the problem.
AMD Athlon X2 6000+ dual core 3.0ghz (never overclocked or touched my processor at all)
2gb of ram
amd radeon 6450 (wow shit card)
I have used 50 gb of like 300gb of hdd space so it's not that, I don't have viruses either.
so, when I went into task manager the other day, it showed 1 graph in my performance tab, so I was like huh, weird, so I went into bios and it said 1 core was being used, and I couldn't change it or anything, it was greyed out for some reason.
in device manager it says 2 cores but my computer feels like its running at the speed of a toaster these past months.
M2N68-LA (Narra5) is my motherboard, my pc is a Presario SR5152NX

tl;dr: have a dual core processor, only using 1 core, checked task manager and bios, showing 1 core there too, never touched the processor before
