I know this is going to sound dumb but here it go`s.I have sapphire R7265 it is running at stock.I have a old screen so I have to use an adapter too connect it too my gpu.Now when I play games I see like white ghost like lines on the screen,Itis not artifacting cause it does not affect the game at all.I have read that it can be the adpater cause it has to convert the signal.I think of buying a new screen that doesn`t need the adapter would that help?Also I was playning homefront only and the screen just went into power safe mode black screen what can that be?all the parts in my pc case is all new except the harddrive.

i only have a other screen that still need the adapter and still did the lines so want to get a screen that uses hdmi or something else that doesnt need a adapter.cause have read alot of forums with same issue and they changed way to connect to gpu and it stopped

I run new cards on old monitors like this hitachi cm715 [its like 14 years old??]
and have no issues with it at all I use the vga to dvi with it
all you can do is try another monitor and se if its the same on it or your monitor with a known working computer to check it or your card in another computer to a known working monitor to se if its the card or its driver -- you may uninstall the cards driver and try a older one or reinstall the one yor using to insure its not that at issue ??
