Yes, yes it is, and for an extra 20$ on that (40$ extra) grab the 4690k because it can be overclocked!

it is not worth it at all.

the only difference is 200 MHz. that is nothing.

No, not really.
It depends on what you want to do with the CPU, in MOST cases the extra 200Mhz and slight optimization in performance will not give you any noticeable improvement.

If you dont have a cpu yet, grab the 4690k, if you have one yet, dont upgrade

Well 4690k oc'd to 4.5ghz definitely outperform stock clocked. Its nice to have an option.

I'm pretty sure I'm never going to overclock it. It's mostly going to be for things like Photoshop and video streaming/editing. So I'm assuming 200 mhz wouldn't really help there?
