Hi!
I bought a new pc, and as the title says most of the games (CS GO, Batman Arkham city, COD Advanced warfare...) are freeze, sound loops, crash.
I had a thread two months ago about it, but no solution!
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2321533/games-freeze-sound-loops-crash-desktop.html#14300679
!!!
Recently popps up this message after the freeze/crash: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/Library/Windows/Hardware/ff570088(v=vs.85).aspx
I dont understand this text. Help me find the solution! THX!

My PC:
Windows 8.1
CPU: Intel i5 4690k 3.5Ghz
PSU: XFX ProSeries 550W
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
MoBO: Gigabyte z97x Gaming 5
GPU: Asus GTX660 Direct CU II OC edition 2Gb
MEMORY: Kingmax 2*4GB 1600Mhz
SSD: OCZ Agility 4 128GB
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB

Solution
This is a long post/s but so far I can't see anyone suggesting the obvious solution: A full format or the HDD and reinstall of the entire system.
I had similar problems with my new GTX970: Constant lockups and crashes after it was installed while the old faithful HD7950 ran like a charm on the same setup, went through a week or so of troubleshooting, even returned the card ultimately formatting and reinstalling did the trick.

I played 5 mins ago with COD AW. It crashed with this error text: The nvidia opengl driver lost connection with the display driver and is unable to continue.

(CPUID HWMonitor: CPU temps: max: 50. GPU: max: 45. = no heat problem?)

I'm trying to run FurMark burn in test, but when it starts, its crashing with this message:
"The NVIDIA OpenGL driver lost connection with the display driver due to exceeding the Windows Time-Out limit and is unable to continue. The application must close."

Then your GPU is faulty or isn't receiving enough power. Make sure the PSU is providing a secure wattage that is compatible with your components. If that isn't the case, RMA that card

HWmonitor its not very accurate software.you wanna use GPU-Z for GPU(it may not show gpu work load)and RealTemp_307 for cpu. in game lower all settings and then try optimization in game also .or you can instal Nvidia expireince software and use optimization for your games.hope it helps.

I agree with this. I played COD AW 2 min ago, the cpu temps were 60-65C and the cpu usages were around 80-100% at the moment it freezed and crashed.
How can i not alow the cpu to go higher?

I'm sorry man, but dust does NOT make a any PC slow. It does other serious shit, but it doesn't make a PC lose FPS in games.

There is no dust in my 2-3 month old PC.
