Solution

The gpu however the cpu is a bit weak too for ultra would say a gtx 970 and a fx 8320 with amd. Or ideally a i5 4690 from intel.

Not 60 fps, sorry, on ultra it's around 35-45 ish.

Still smooth in multiplayer.

You dont include one of the most important things: "What resolution you want to run at". If its 1920x1080 then yes it will run well (with low or no AA). Anything above that like 2560x1440 or higher no way. Resolution is the biggest hit on your framerate, keep that in mind.

The 280x peeks at around 60 fps, that seems to be the cheapest alternative. The CPU is what bf4 is more intensive in, a 8350 will actually help get more frames as wel..

"AMD FX Unlocked Black Edition, 8-Core Technology, 4.00GHz Clock Speed, 4.20GHz Turbo Frequency, 16MB Cache, DDR3-2133 Support, 125W" <---- This baby?

That should do the job.

Yeah that's the one, I recommend that one, faster, can o.c. more and really great for games that utilize multiple cores to run, a good upgrade.

Would this get the job done? "AMD (Piledriver) FX-8320E 3.20GHz (4.00GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 8-Core Processor"

Thanks for all the help man, just one more thing haha, whats the difference between the normal 8320, and the 8320E?

The 8320e is 95watts so it uses a little less power there isent much of a difference its the same chip other than that.

Ah cheers man, would it be worth upgrading the Graphics card to this "Sapphire Radeon R9 270X VAPOR-X Boost OC AMD Graphics Card - 2GB" or nah?

If not then you may want to consider the more expensive one since it has a higher stock clock but the cheaper one can be brought up to the same performance as the more expensive by simply moving a slider in msi afterburner. So thats really up to you.
