So i have the pc already built pretty much but i had a friend help me and well we are not too close anymore and i need to change this graphics card.

My motherboard is a GA-78LMT-USB3 with an AMD 780G chipset.
The graphics card i just bought is EVGA GeForce GT 740 4GB GDDR5 (04G-P4-3748-KR)

I just bought it a few hours ago and my ADHD/Bipolar are kicking ina dn im thinking negative how it wont fit and i need some experts advice to reassure me so i can make the right choice.

Whats troubling me is diffeent sites saying different things. Amazon says its PCIe 2 which will fit, then newegg says its PCIe3.0 which i dont think will fit.

Please help me.

Solution
It will run fine with virtually no loss in performance.

PCIe connectors are backwards compatible. While the card supports PCIe 3.0, it will work in PCIe 3.0 2.1 2.0 1.1 and 1.0 slots.
The long blue slot on your motherboard will be able to accept the card just fine.

Remember to connect a PCIe 6 pin power connector to the back of your card when you put it in so that it will be properly powered.
