Which R9 280X should I get? Can't decide

I'd get the Gigabyte,it has a better cooler IMO.
But both are great cards,you can't go wrong with them.
If you can,get the Sapphire Tri-X,that would be the best you can possibly get(don't get the Dual-X).

i would go with the xfx option because in my opinion it looks way better. but your taste may vary

Go with the Gigabyte R9 280X WF http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H34J64M. XFX graphics cards use lower quality components and are much less reliable. The Gigabyte will perform better all-around.

Thats the cooling solution that Sapphire uses to cool the 280X. One of the best coolers for AMD cards.
