OK so I'm having a trouble time picking a motherboard so my question is what's the difference between the Asus maximum hero 2 goes for $205. And a gigabyte z97x gaming 5 which is on sell now. The question is not price i would like to cheaper but is there a big difference in between them that I should go with the hero or am I just fine with the gigabyte one for $134. Please help I would like to order the gigabyte before the sale ends if you guys tell me there's no big difference.

As long as both meet your specs., from there I would just check the consumer reviews of each. Newegg.com is one good source in addition to what on Tom's.. I've used both brands and haven't had any issues with either.
