Computer Lags only on One Router (Other comps fine)

I'll describe in detail what is happening here, because I can't seem to find a solution:

My primary laptop (G75VX Asus) before I moved was connecting wirelessly to whichever router without problem. The day after I moved into this place, it was connecting to THIS router perfectly fine. Suddenly the next day, it can barely connect at all. It's incredibly laggy, sometimes it won't even allow me to use any internet-based applications at all, though it will show me connected and the troubleshoot will come up with "your internet is working perfectly".

Then I tried to connect this computer to other routers and hotspots - works perfectly fine. I have no issue with it. That's including my phone.

So then I tried to use multiple other computers on this same router: They all work great. My phone's connection is perfect on it, my school laptop, Xbox, roommate's laptop.

So basically: My computer only struggles with one router, but no other computer does. My computer is fine with all other routers.
Is there some sort of problem between my computer and this router?

I'll cover some common troubleshooting suggestions:

- I cannot ping any website, even if I -t and leave it.
- I cannot ping my default gateway
- When I hardwire in (it's a 2 in 1 modem/router), my internet is fine
- I don't THINK any anti-virus is toying with it
- I cannot ping other devices on the network
- I've already restored to two different points, both were weeks before this problem started

EDIT: Something else a bit odd is often times when I try to connect to my router, it will say "Unable to connect", and then connect anyway. Not sure if that helps.

Thanks for the help guys. :)

You need to be more specific here. You say "The day after I moved into this place, it was connecting to THIS router perfectly fine. " What is "THIS" supposed to mean? Your own personal router? Some random router you are connecting to?

Anyway, try refreshing your machines IP when connected to this router:
1. Start-run-cmd.exe
2. type: ipconfig
3. type: ipconfig /release
4. type: ipconfig /renew

See if that helps. Your machine could of gotten a bad IP/shared IP from the routers DCHP table.

Ah, yeah for a day I was able to connect to the router that is now no longer working.

Nope, releasing and renewing didn't help at all. :(
