Hello and thanks for taking a moment to read this over. I have just built my first computer in about 10 years, So many things have changed and I have some questions that I have been trying to research but am getting mixed answers, My rig at the moment is a ASUS 990FX 2.0, AMD 9590 CPU with a Seidon 120XL cooling solution, a EVGA GTX 970, Lazer 1000W Power Supply and 16G(8x2) 1600 kingston HyperX DDR3 Ram, In a Ultra Gladiator case =(, At idle I run about 35-37c And it Games fine on Ultra settings at a humble 60FPS "which I have capped" raching temps at about 48-54c "Not bad IMO" When I run AMD Overdrives Stability test all seems well, It does not shut down But my ASUS AI suites Thermal Radar tells me Im running a 75-80 Socket temp"in big red intimidating letters" And I read a Thermal margin of about 15C in The CPU status, I currently have my radiator set up >|> Pulling air into the case, I have one intake fan on the front of the case and another Exhausting it on the side of the case next to then Plexiglas sight window, It is about 3 days old so I dont know if the thermal paste still needs to cure "A light amount was used " Or if I simply dont have the airflow for this type of set up, Or is this just normal for the scorching 220 TDP this 9590 comes with, Any advice will be taken and not ignored and I thank you in advance for any help that is given. Ps My water pump is hooked into my CPU FAN and I belive is set at full Speed, Something like 1428 Rpms if that sounds correct lol =)
