I am getting the Gigabyte Z97X-SOC later, but my PSU (Antec HCG-750M) has 2x4 pin connectors for the motherboard (cpu power) but the Z97X-SOC has "1 x 8-pin ATX 12V power connector, 1 x 4-pin ATX 12V power connector" will it work fine with just the 2x4 pin connectors, with the other 4 pin free?

Use both of them for the 8 pin.

you would want to use the 2x4 Pin connector only.... if you only had a 4pin that is what you would use... also if your going to OC you would really want to use the 2x4Pin..... Don't use both you could kill the board and CPU if you do....
