So I've made 2 possible builds. One is a build with an i7-5820K, 16GB DDR4-2400Mhz, x99 Mobo, GTX 970. And another build with an i7-4790K, 16GB DDR3-1600Mhz, z97 Mobo, GTX970.
The 5820K build will cost me 1370 euro and the 4790K will cost me 1200 euro.
I'm mainly gonna use it for gaming/streaming. Which one should I get?

Solution
Hm... but I thought a GTX 980 would have better for recording. Okay, I edited the base as to your preferences. I also put another link, to a Samsung 840 EVO and a Corsair 760T.

i7 5820k
MSI X99S SLI PLUS
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR4-2400MHz
Noctua NH-U12S CPU Cooling
Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500GB
Asus STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5

Or

i7 4790k
Asus ROG Z97 MAXIMUS VII RANGER
Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3-1600MHz
Noctua NH-U12S CPU Cooling
Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500GB
Asus STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5

I already have a 750w PSU, Monitor, 1TB HDD etc..

Not really.

I'll go with 4790K. Maximus VII ranger is kind of a overkill and more of a luxury item. If you plan to do a 3-WAY SLI in future then get the Gigabyte gaming GT or G1 otherwise VII Hero or Gigabyte GAming 7 is fine. And I'll go with MSI or Gigabyte 970 over ASUS. They can OC higher and cools better.

Okay, thanks! Do you think that in the future (in like 3-4 years) games will actually take advantage of more than 4 cores and DDR4 RAM?

If you don't need editing, then go with the 4790K. No need for 6 physical cores.

Thanks! Looks like a good build :) Do you think the 980 is worth it over the 970? Since it's almost double the price. The 970 is 300 euro and the 980 is 550 euro.

Gaming took around 5 years to move from dual cores to quad cores. So I think were still 5 years away from a move to hexa cores from quad cores.
And 970 is just marginally slower than 980. So I'll recommend a 970 and then SLI after you've saved up enough to get a 2nd one.
