So I've got Realtek Audio Sound Manager which came on my computer when I got it. I really hate it, I don't know how to explain it but it makes everything sound so weird. My old computer just had the normal windows sound on it and it was so much better. Any help would be appreciated as this is really annoying me.

Solution
Don't disable it, instead check it's sound settings to see if a particular sound effect or environment processing has been set which is not to your liking.

Open Realtek HD Audio Manager.
Click the Sound Effects tab.
You should see two drop-down menus, one for Environment, & below that, one for Equaliser.
Play around with them while a music track is playing until you get a satisfactory result.
When satisfied, click 'OK' to save your new settings.
