So, I'm building my first pc and the case won't mount a 5.25 optical drive, so I purchased a USB disc reader for game installation and music ripping. I also purchased a fresh license of windows in the form of a 64 bit 8.1 install disc.
How would I install windows on a BIOS, assuming that I cannot get the computer to boot from the USB disc reader? Is there a method to install windows 8.1 using a flash drive and then activate it using the license on my disc?
