Hi, I have an A10 7700K. I run it Overclocked at 4.1 GHz but I am unhappy with the temperatures of the stock cooler (Stupid idea, I know, but its been working well for a while now) I was wondering if I need to clean off the CPU's thermal paste before applying the H80i? the H80i comes with a layer of thermal paste already on it, so do I need to clean my CPU's current thermal paste off of it?

I have not bought the H80i just yet, but will it work on my ASUS A78M-E ITX Motherboard in my Cooler Master K350 Mid Tower?

Any time you remove a heat sink from the computer's CPU you need to clean off the old and add new in the "grain of rice" or "pea" sized application style. This is where you put the past in the center of the CPU in the grain of rice or pea sized amount, then add the new heatsink. The paste will spread out naturally under the pressure.

Since the h80i comes with a "thermal paste" on it you can use it without adding any new, tho many buy a better paste and remove the stock paste for better cooling. WHen you say work.. it should fit and you can use the 120 mm back fan do put it in.
