lines on laptop

i have got hp probook from delhi university but it has bundles of white vertical lines looking unpleasant. how can i get rid of them ? reply must.....

Does it have a dedicated GPU in it? If it does try uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling it. Another thing to try is plug it into a monitor and see if the picture is clear. If it is, then there might be an issue with the screen itself, if you see lines on an external display as well the graphics on it might be gone.
