Alright so the thread is semi pointless considering I'll be building a new PC very soon. But my two current PC's I use one for recording games and one for editing/rendering. I recently had the hard drive crash so I re installed windows 7 while I was doing that I swapped the 7770 gpu over to the editing PC so I could play some games.

After swapping it over I noticed Battlefield 4 ran way smoother and even had a FPS increase of 5-10 and would even hold the FPS pretty stable. All the drivers are the exact same and no game settings changed. I can't think of why the q6600 would run BF4 an insane amount better. Is the IPIBL-LB motherboard better and could that cause it to run the CPU better?

I would keep a stable 25-30 fps at medium/high settings on the editing PC, whereas I would have 20 fps that would have screen freezes and dip down to 15 fps on the recording PC at low settings.

Specs of my game recording PC

Prebuilt gateway
kentsfield q6700 2.66ghz stock
680it-gb motherboard
Ati Radeon HD7770 2GB
8gb DDR2 800mhz

Specs of the editing PC

Prebuilt HP
Kentsfield q6600 2.4ghz stock
IPIBL-LB Motherboard
Ati Radeon HD7770 2GB
8gb DDR2 800mhz

You said "After swapping it over I noticed Battlefield 4 ran way smoother and even had a FPS increase of 5-10 and would even hold the FPS pretty stable." - that's because you put on the 7770 after the 6670. Nothing to do with your mobo or cpu.

Ok I don't know if you are just acting like a moron or you are just a complete moron. If you go back to my OP you can clearly see I didn't include the 6670 for apparent reasons because people like you can't comprehend a simple question.

I have two computers, one has a 680it gb motherboard, hd7770 gpu, q6700 cpu, 8gb ddr2 800mhz ram.

The other computer has a IPIBL lb motherboard, hd6670 gpu, q6600 cpu, 8gb ddr2 800mhz ram.

The computer with the 680it gb motherboard had a hard drive crash so I had to re install windows 7, during that time I swapped the hd7770 over to the computer with the IPIBL LB motherboard. So if you can clearly see both computers had the exact same GPU when I tested the FPS. One computer ran the 7770 with a q6600 and had better fps then the computer with the q6700 with the 7770. So maybe you can understand me now if not let me know and I will color code everything.
