Gaming Rig (System Upgrade - Need Advice!)

Hey Guys

So Ive already got some advice about what chips, and after reading a bit i decided that i dont think the 2011-3 Chip is worth it due to it being too expensive among other things, Im looking for some advice on some systems that ive put together and although im asking alot it would be greatly appreciated it i could have some assistance :)

I was wondering as the Broadwell Chipset is coming out Q1' 2015 should i upgrade anything else or wait for that to be released.

If i Decide to Upgrade these are the options im looking at if i upgrade now. Also if i could be told if these are all compatible,

Now Ive done my own research and from what i can see they are the only problem may be the RAM & CPU Compatibility due to a 1600Mhz Cap on the 4790K and which is the most bang for my buck in terms of longevity (currently my PC has lasted me 4Years).

I am investing in a i-7 Due to the fact that not only do i game but i also do Graphic Design, Web Design & Web Programming

Ill Be Looking to Upgrade in February 2015 (so it may be even cheaper then)

I personally would replace the Antec High Current Pro 850W if its out of warranty (I don't know how old it is). Then you have a known working backup PSU. I'd also invest in a uninterruptible power supply. Nothing worse then a brown out rapidly reseting or simply turning off your computer. I'd look very close at your power requirements, you maybe ok to go with a smaller PSU depending on how much power your H100 CPU Cooler uses, especially on the nVidia 970 systems.

I'll likely go with the i5 vs the i7 as I don't need hyperthreading - the extra performance isn't going to be noticable most of the time.

Thanks For the Opinion But

Im focusing on an I-7 High End Gaming Rig, the ones u posted are not what im looking for, as seen above, Alot of those parts i dont need and as im Australian i only buy from PCCG so Choice is more limited

Appreciate the Advice tho :)

There's no way you'd come close to 1000W. Not even on two GTX 970s.

-850W PSU is all you'll need - it'll be enough for GTX 900s SLI + overclocking! - and the EVGA G2 is one of the best, especially for its price. Reading your suggestions i think you have some good points and ive taken some of those and whats your opinion on this build?
Btw cause im Australian all those prices are inflated quite largely eg:

Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card ($350 @ Newegg / $550 @ PCCG), so due to my limitations ive altered it for me as an AU Consumer, Have a look and tell me what you think :) i Also prefer MSI over Asus, Had problems with ASUS stuff before :3
