Hi,
I recenlty got a second kit (same brand/model number etc) of ram
Link: ADATA XPG v2 the last line is my model 2x4GB/1600Mhz
So the old kit runs at 1333 while the new at 1600.
Pics of SPD in BIOS
Old kit: pic
New kit: pic
so I ve tried disabling XMP(which is different in SPD (WHY would they change the SPD/XMP :fou: )
and setting every timing manually. Didnt help kits report 1333/1600 speeds.
Also speed aside memory has no errors and the system seems stable.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for the quick reply. So what i guess is the difference in production date is what gives me trouble...
I tried enabling XMP and even manually setting the speed to 1600 and still bios and cpz report 1333/1600 speeds.
Anything else i could do?

It only gives me one option so probably its for all 4 sticks. Is the fact that different speed are shown a problem for stability? Also can i flash new spd file to a ram stick?
