This is my first build and I'm starting to regret going down this path because im an idiot with these things and I didn't expect to run into so many problems.
PC is dead. Refuses to boot. CPU and case fans don't run but my GPU and hard drive seems to be running. I'm not sure if it's the PSU or motherboard
These parts are brand new and I bought them two months ago for $500.
My pc was working fine the night before until it restarted without warning and booted back up again. I thought nothing of it and decided to continue playing WoW. The computer shut off again and will not boot into bios. The CPU fan stops running and my case LEDs aren't even on, and the case fans aren't running either. I immediately concluded that the psu died until I discovered the GPU fans are running and the hard drive and dvd rom drives are running too.
I don't know if the problem lies with my motherboard or my psu. Either way, I'm getting aPSU in the mail today.
If it helps. I remember getting blue screens whenever I close games like Minecraft and WoW. It said system_service_exception. I couldn't get anymore from that.
I'm not good with parts so I don't know how to fix this.
