Have upgraded from XP to Win7 going from a 32-bit ThinkPad to a 64-bit Thinkpad as the older unit CPU fried. Have wireless Microsoft MultiMedia 1.1 and wireless Microsoft optical mouse with USB plugged in Microsoft optical desktop Receiver 2.1 (all three came bundled). Downloaded drivers and failed... 1) The mouse works; but, I lost some of button choices (I like the left to be double-click and right to be single(left)-click with center to be right-click). 2) The keyboard updated driver has no means to set the multi-media keys AND many of the keys now result in additional keys (eg an "e" becomes "de", the alt closes the program, delele jumps location, etc....). 3) The only way to uninstall was via the Computer Management Driver utility; but when reinstalling, it says no dice as there is already a later version installed. I am typing this on the laptop's keyboard while adjusting to the reduced featured optical mouse. I seek a means to COMPLETELY uninstall the wireless software and then a Win7 64-bit driver for this previously wonderful wireless keyboard/mouse.
