replacing stock cpu heatsink fan with different fan

Hey everyone whose about to read this.

I was wondering what cpu heatsink fan brand and model that you would recommend for gaming and 3d rendering. and if possible is there a way i can replace the fan on the heatsink with a different fan? reason is because most heatsink fan led are blue and i would like to keep it consistent and change it to red.

hahaha i was reading a post from someone who needed help and he mentioned please do not recommend hyper 212 evo. with the hyper 212 evo. is there a mounting kit for the other side? i only see one side

I don't know what his particular problem is with the 212 evo, other than space maybe, they are pretty bulky. but as far as performance, you cant beat em for the price. They are great coolers.

as far as mounting goes, it would depend on what motherboard you have. The cooler will come with a variety of different mounting options because it varies from motherboard to motherboard.

i think he was on a budget but i could be wrong if he cant paid $35 for it. I meant how do i mount the other fan? this will be my first time getting an aftermarket for my rig.

Oh you mean how do you mount the 2nd fan onto the 212 evo? It comes with brackets that you screw onto your fans, and that allows the fans to just clip onto the heatsink tower. Easy peasy.
