Hi experts , nedd your advice ( maybe a comment) that´s kind of driving me crazy.
I´ll try to write a short story before go to my doubt.Bought , like 2 years ago a Supermarket computer ( a kind of french Wall matr , but I live in Brazil) , was looking to a machine justo to use excel and internet.
Ok , I left the office and this machime came to my home , so I star into games world and made an upgrade , changed a generic power supply for a Corsair 500 , bought a GTX 650 TI 2G and a thermaltake V 4 case.Ok , now the PC have bad RAMs , 6 MB of generic 1333 , bad Mobo H61H2-M2 , but this supermarket machine came whit a i5 2nd gen 2310 2,90 until 3,2 and I heard amazing testimonies about rhis CPU.But it´s an LGA 1155 and here´s what is killing me.
Was hard to find a good 1155 MoBo whit 3.0 USB , 6 GB conectors ( I have a HD 3 Ghrs that make my " level of Windows Experie=nce goes just until 4,9 when other grades are more then 7) , weel , the Mobo is bad , also heard that can damage my GPU , etc , etc , etc.
I found Maximus Mobo which looks great but What should I expect?
The 2º and 3º gen of Intel would be the last one whit 1155 soocket? It´s possible that we could have a newer CPU using 1155?
I´m asking cause would like to keep whit my i5 2310 , but spend 300 US$ ( price in dollars in Brazil) and never upgrade my CPU dont look to smart.A friend said that the 5º Intel will be other than 1150 ?? So I kind of feeling that mobo manufacturs and Intel plays like a mafia?
There is some true in my toughts?
Thanks in advance , all comments are apreciatted and sorry about the bad english,
Have a great saturday.

First of all, please dont compare the pricing problem in your country with others,
It's not relevant because every country has different tax policies on imports.

Second, new technology is expensive

Lastly, basically in simple explanation that I can provide with regards to your dilemma..

Lga socket 1155 is old technology and Lga 1150 is for new ones of the same consumer grade cpu, because they need to create a new platform "socket" to accommodate the new innovations and technology with it

Technical explanation, it can handle more

So, the i5 2310 you have now might be good back then, it wont match up to current i5's in same tier because of newer tech that with them.

Is a brand new CPU I thing , 2 years of " soft" use and experts told me that is a good product , but isn´t that at all , so if I buy an 4º gen and a MoBo 1150 and Intel lives 1150 too than I right , is impossible to have futureproof hardare , is just for very rich people or people that cares more about PC s then the familly.

1150 socket is compatible with the upcoming broadwell cpu.

There is no such thing as future proof hardware.

Advancement of technology is a good thing, not just because "rich people" want them.

Even the most expensive computer components today will be obsolete after a year,

Sorry about bad english , are you saying that the next generation of Intel ( don´t know if is the 5º gen or another name) will use 1150 MoBos ?If is this someone that bougt 4º gen could usu the same MoBos or change the Mobo and stays whit the same CPU?
If I understood is good new , a socket can " survive" for more time.
Sorry if sounds rude my words , problen is if hardware is expensive in US imagine in Brazil!!!!I´ll never understand why the genius that do laws here taxes things that we don´t have techonology to produce!!!Understand? What conpany are them trying to protect?Sugarcane??Rsrs
My i5 looks fine , and I don´t love it , but if I buy an 1150 socket CPU I can save 300 dolars from a Maximus MoBo .
Or I go to brand new MoBo and CPU or I send money whit MoBo but stay whit this i5 2310 for a long time. You´d be surprised if you compare the prices here and US.
Thanks a lot , sorry about some missunderstood.

Thanks Adept , I´ll probably choose for an 1150 Mobo , spend more now to have USB 3.0 and 6 Ghzs SATA III HD and a 4º Gen i5 .SSD still too expensive ( and yes , I understand that the companies spends lots of money to find great solutions) , so I´ll wait a little beat.New MObo and CPU will also permit RAM faster then mine generics 1333.For the CPU Intel is my choice for sure , about Mobo I think it will be an ASUS cause I use to listen good impressions and probably HD Seagate Barracuda 6 Ghz SATA III 7200 RPM , Corsair or Kingston RAM 1600.
My CX 500 Corsair power suply can handle whit this ?

Thnk you very much , helped me whit my lack of knowlwdge, have a great week,
