Starting a whole new computer from scratch

Hey i recently started putting together a new pc and was wondering on what you guys thought of it. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6LZFHx I was wondering if i am getting a good price for that. And also would i be able to run a game such as Arma 3 or Day Z getting this pc?

Hello,

The second build is way better, you can game pretty much anything at high settings on an 1080p monitor. You could do even better though: go for a Z97 motherboard (it will give you the Haswell Refresh compatibility right out of the box) and for a better PSU:
