Here are the components:
processor: intel i7-4790k 4.0 ghz
heatsink fan: CoolMaster 212 EVO
motherboard: MSI Z97-G45 Gaming
graphics card: MSI N770 2gb
ram: 8gb G.Skillz ripjaws x series (4gb x 2)
power supply: Thermaltake Toughpower 750w
ssd: 250gb samsung 840 evo

OS: windows 8.1

If I am just browsing the web, the computer will not reboot. It has rebooted a couple of times while using windows remote desktop, but that happens rarely.

Most of the time while I am playing a game, my pc will eventually reboot. No BSOD. The computer just shuts down and starts itself back up again. I found one game where I can reproduce the problem 100% of the time after the opening cutscene.

I've dusted out the inside and made sure all the fans are working. It's not an overheating problem. The cpu's are around 40-50c and gpu is max 60c when it shuts down.

I've checked the event log and see the "Event 41, Kernal-Power" error saying my system rebooted without cleanly shutting down, but no other events that happened before that tell me anything useful.

I've tried unchecking the "Automatically Restart" box under system failures on the system properties, to see if I can get anymore debugging info, but the computer reboots the same way. There is no debugging memory dump.

Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Solution
it could be a bad psu although i cant tell , if its drawing power and sees a danger the psui will reboot , if you have another psu test it if the problem goes away return the new psu and ask for a refund

Yes, it was the psu. I replaced my old one with an Antec 750w and haven't run into the problem once. Thanks.
