10$ Extra For The MSI Gtx 770 Opposed To The XFX R9 280x?

Hi!

So I'm about to buy a R9 280x, Its 260$ I see the MSI Gtx 770 Is only 270$ Is the MSI card alot worse than the others? Or is it just a really good deal?

I would personnaly go with NVIDIA. But you can look at some benchmark. R9 280X you can get 1 to 5 more fps in some games. MSI is good I have a MSI GTX 980 it kill everything in 1080p.

The 770 seems to give better performance than the 280x, and will be a little cooler.

In my opinion GTX 770 is better. I wouldn't go back with any AMD graphic card.(Personnal choice)
Like Ironsounds said there's 1 gb memory difference(GTX770 have 7GB and the R9 280X have 6GB)

Hello... Single gaming monitor 1080P performance 2gb is all that is required... A lot of people would prefer to go with NVIDIA. Look some good/bad review of 290 and GTX 770. Some people who had 770 before 290 they prefered GTX 770. Look some buyers review and you can make a decision on that. With 2GB in 1080p you are fine. If you go higher(1440p,4k) you will need more. 1080p is perfect for now personnaly. With a 770/R9 290 you should stay at 1080 anyway.(For gaming)

It's up to you ! 290X will give you like 5% more FPS performance vs 290. 290X is near GTX970 and cost a bit more. (You can look at some benchmark.) It's up to you
