I am planning to trade in an Xbox 360 Elite (120 GB) through the Microsoft online store which offers $100 credit toward an Xbox One; however, the warranty seal was removed due to previous opening of the console. Microsoft considers a console to be "working" if it has the warranty seal still attached, and I was wondering if I can rectify this issue with my console. Is it illegal to buy a warranty sticker online, or to print out your own sticker and place it on the console? I found this site (http://) which has a warranty sticker for sale, although I am not sure if it a legit site. Does Microsoft notice the difference between a real/fake warranty sticker? And if this is illegal (which I believe it is), are there any places that don't check for warranty stickers where I can trade in an Xbox 360 Elite for around the same value that Microsoft offers? Any advice is appreciated.

I heard that Ganestop does not check for warranty stickers, but there is still the question of whether it is illegal to replace a warranty sticker once it has been removed. Is the site which is mentioned above a legitimate site to buy a warranty sticker? I am asking this since the only thing preventing me from trading in the xbox 360 is the missing warranty sticker, and everything else is qualified for it to be considered a "working" console.
