Hello, I have decided that I will be building my own gaming computer for the first time and I will need your help. I barely know anything about specs but i think i have got down the right kind of build. These are my two builds. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fmqRCJ http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NKx2Bm One has a better cpu and the other has a better gpu. I will mostly be using this computer for gaming next gen games and my budget will be 700 no more. Is it better to have a better CPU or GPU. Also is their a better build for 700 dollars. Thank you for your help.

I would go for a better videocard so option 2.
But I would choose the Amd R9 280 or the X version and not the Gtx760. Both are the same price but the AMD is 3gb and 384 bit.
The Gtx760 is only 2gb and 256bit.
The R9280X destroys the 760;)

Amd cards are cheap now if you are on a budget and they are good cards.

A better video card would be better, but make sure you have a decent i5 processor to go with it. But this can also depend on the kind of games you intend on playing, if it's games like Minecraft it will be more reliant on your CPU, however more graphics intense games like Battlefield 4 and Crysis 3 will be more reliant on your GPU. But when it comes to the builds you put down, I would say go with the one I'd say go with the one with the 760, because even though that GPU goes with more powerful CPU's like the Amd FX 8350 or the Intel Core i5 4690, your budget limits you alot so if anything go with the 760 build.

Well first of all I think your PSU is a little bit to powerful, you can knock of some money by downgrading it to a 450w psu like the Corsair CX430M. But I think you should use the Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti, with the Intel Core i5 4690. I know the GPU is a downgrade but it helps equalize them abit better.
