Mixed Ram CAS Latency, Which do I OC?

I have 16 gb of Ram running into a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard. I have a single Kingston stick of 8gb with a CAS of 8-9-10-11, and a RAS to CAS/RAS Precharge of 8-9-10-10.

The other 8gb are a dual set by Crucial. They are from 2012, and have a CAS of 9-10-11-9, and R-C etc. of 9-9-9-9.

I have been getting blue screens, and after switching out my hard drive i have settled on the mis-matched timings as the possible culprit. It's a little late to send the Kingston back to newegg (I bought it about a month and a half ago). So what should I do to stabalize my system a bit? I hear you can overclock timings... I assume I would have to push the dual set up to the single set's timings.

Is this possible? More importantly, would it help stabalize my system? I also experience lot's of programs crashing to desktop.

Thanks!

I'd initially try they 4sticks in slots 1-3, then go into BIOS and set them to 1600, 10-10-10-27, 1.575, and raise the CPU/NB voltage to 1.24, save exit and boot. If that goes well, shutdown and add the 8GB stick in slot 2 and givve it a try and let me know.
