Hello, I'm Santiago, I'm 20 years old from Argentina, I want to buy a new processor/motherboard/RAM to my sister, the RAM and Motherboard I've already decided (the motherboard has a 1150 socket) but my budget is rather poor and the difference between those 2 processors are around U$S 44 in here, I'll give her my old Radeon 7750, she has the HDD and power supply. The question is: ¿Is really worth it the G3220 over the G1820 when the games she plays the most are probably League of Legends (really famous here), Lineage 2 (yes we still play it both) and Perfect World and similar games?... She uses it the most (the old PC) for school (and facebook xD).

Thanks in advance! (This is my first question in a foreign website)

Intel Celeron G1820 advantages
The official price of the CPU is much lower than the price of the Intel Pentium G3220 processor.
The microprocessor has 40% better price/performance ratio.

Intel Pentium G3220 advantages
In single-threaded applications, the Intel G3220 CPU has 12% higher performance.
In multi-threaded programs, the microprocessor is about 11% faster.
Memory performance of the Intel G3220 is better.
In games and graphics applications, the processor is 2% faster.

As you can see, pentium beats Celeron at Single threaded and Multithreaded operations,
The celeron must be your best buy as per your requirements!
Only if your sibling is'nt that much of a gamer

Pentiums are more powerful than Celerons.

The Intel HD graphics core should be sufficient for your needs include Those games as long as expectations are low.
So you won't have to give your old GPU
PS- Intel HD graphics are prebuilt GPU in Pentium processors itself

Thanks Notrix for your opinion, the thing is, I bought a new GPU so I will give the old one to my sister, so with that in mind (the fact that she will have a "good" GPU for those tipes of games) the CPU is the deal I have. Do I have to buy the Pentium, or with the Celeron it will be just fine?

Santiago.
