Hey guys, I want to build myself a pc and it is a bit scary, so far I have selected the following:
Case: DIYPC Solar-M1-R Black/Red SECC ATX Mid Tower USB 3.0 Gaming Computer Case w/ 2 x 120mm Red Fans
Hard Drive: Western Digital WD Green WD10EZRX 1TB SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" OEM
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-AM1M-S2H AM1 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD
RAM: Team Elite Plus 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
Processor: AMD A4-6300 Richland Dual-Core 3.7GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 65W Desktop Processor AMD Radeon HD 8370D AD6300OKHLBOX
Graphics: VisionTek 900356 Radeon HD 5450 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16
and finally Power supply: 650W ATX 12cm Fan SATA PCIe

Am I missing anything or will this pc work well together? If anything doesnt look right could you please possibly help me with some suggestions? I did some research and from my limited knowledge I thought this was a decent build.

Thanks!

Well the cpu and motherboard are not compatible to start with the motherboard is an old AM1 and the cpu is fm2. 16Gb of ram is not needed on such a low end build(money would be better spent else where). Running an OS on a 5400rpm hdd is not a good idea(slower than molasses in winter). I see no make and model on the PSU so I assume that its probably a cheap generic unit which is always a bad idea. Whats your budget and main use(s) for the system and I can put together a better(and compatible) build.

It has alot of problems. Major quality issues. Biostar(horrible quality) and logisys(one of the worst psu brands you can buy). The apu has a better gpu than the gt 720 so you are just wasting money there. With an apu you want to get fast ram and the 1333 is slow(and more expensive than faster better ram). the sound card is no better than most integrated sound so again more wasted money. There's no real need for a aftermarket cpu cooler unless you plan on overclocking and for that you would need a better one. Here is a much better $500 build
