I am trying to uninstall a audio drive permanently but if I do it in the device manager it automatic reinstalls itself. The driver this is for is for a broken audio jack and it is causing my audio adapter to have a crackling noise in the background.

Solution
You need to work out the name of the driver and delete it. Then stop it being downloaded and re-installed by Windows.

Or go to device manager and disable the device.

Is the audio integrated? if yes you can disable integrated audio on the BIOS. or you can go to device manager and just disable it. if you press uninstall what will happen is that the next time you log in it will try to reinstall again.

Disabling doesn't fix it and when I uninstall it it just reinstalls by itself no matter what.
