I have used Samsung Data Migration software to migrate from a 2TB Seagate SSHD to 1TB Samsung SSD. Data size 500MB. When I run system file checker (Windows 8.1) on the source drive all files are fine but on the SSD drive the cloned version contains a multitude of .dll errors. That cannot be fixed. I do not want to do fresh install as there are a multitude of installed programs. I have done the clone twice with the same result. Is Acronis True Image clone or backup/restore likely to do a better job?
