Is AMD FX 6350 compatible with asrock 960gm-vgs3 fx ?

Hey guys,
the question is the one from the title. I know that I can see the CPU list shown in the official site, but as long as I can see only AMD FX 6300 is compatible, And there is a missing information about AMD FX 6350 for many other MBs ( more expensive ones ). So the question is.... since the MB will run AMD FX 6300, will it run also AMD FX 6350 ?

Yes, its a socket AM3+ mobo, the Asrock page says: AM3+ 8-Core Processor Support!
So your 6-core FX63xx will be good to go on that motherboard

Is it compatible, yes. Is it a good board for the 6300 or 6350? A resounding no. Micro ATX board are not a good match with the 4, 6, or 8 core FX cpu's. The simple fact is they have really weak vrm's. 4+1 when you need 8+2. They also have no heatsinks on the already weak and paltry mosfets. Be prepared to be disappointed. And expect severe thermal throttling. Google up images of even a middling GA-970A-UD3P and look at it, specifically the heatsinks and compare it to your board. And that is only part of the equation. Also Google "asrock 960gm-vgs3 fx, thermal throttling" and see what you come up with. The 6350 is not supported. Only 95 watt FX cpu's are. That is a big red flag right there.

Agreed, a 960 board is not good at all in general regardless of what FX you feed it, buy a better board or go to an intel system.

Thanks a lot guys, rly useful information. And yes after 3 months of use, Im totally dissapointed... I cannot OC my Phenom II 965, not at all. Now Im considering to buy Asus M5A99X-EVO. Any better suggestions ?

A bit little late with me , i have bought a fx 6300 proccesor and idle temps are "48º" while playing "68º". I always bought asus , asrock totally dissapoint me.
