I have recently completed my first ever build. It has been running fine for about a month however last night it shut down randomly. When I restarted it it has come up with a CPU fan error message.

I have a corsair h80i cpu cooler and an Asus maximums vii ranger mobo. The mono displays a q-code of 64 and does 5 beeps when showing the cpu fan error message.

I'm pretty new to making computers etc. so any help would be appreciated greatly!!

Solution
What, if any thing is plugged into the CPU fan header on the motherboard? Usually you want the fan associated with the radiator on the CPU fan plug so that it will speed up as the temperature requires. The pump should be plugged into a fan header with the no temperature dependence -- constant voltage.
