Hello I recently bought a ASUS P8B75-M/CSM motherboard this week. I also ordered a
Rosewill Black SECC Steel USB 3.0 Mid Tower Computer Case Cases REDBONE U3
The only problem is, I don't think the case is compatible with the motherboard. None of the cords/plugs go to the motherboard and it's missing many of them.

I already took out the aluminum/metal/plastic on the case next to where the pci slots are so I don't know if I will be able to return the case.

I would like a case that is fully compatible with my motherboard, and that utilizes all features of the board and plugs in all the cords.

One other question, I accidentally made a thin slice in my power supplys main power cord, can I just wrap it with electrical tape?

Thanks.

Most of the newer cases have matching I/O ports. They usually have 1xHDAUDIO for case audio i/o, 1xHDDLED which makes a led blink when the HDD is used, the power led, the power button and the restart button. That motherboard has USB 3.0 headers, so you could buy a case with 3.0, and even if your mobo didn't have, the case's USB 3.0 cable comes with a 2.0 cable attached, in case the mobo doesn't have it, you can still use the slot at 2.0 speeds.

the motherboard has usb 3.0 headers on it, and it will fit inside that case so it is compatible. About that slice, depends on how deep is that slice, if you can see the wires inside, then you need to replace it, but if it's just a slice in the rubber, and didn't reach the wires inside yet, just wrap it up.

Thanks but it's not just the headers im talking about. It's all the cases cords that dont plug into the motherboard. And the motherboard is placed near the top of the case, so the power supply's power cord is stretched tight across the inside to reach the power plug where it goes.

Well, then you might want to reconsider and buy a middle tower motherboard. The one you specified is mini tower. Or you could search for a PSU with longer cords.

The motherboard is a microatx, so I will get a microatx case. Now I just have to find one that matches all the internal I/O ports.
