Performance boost if I add a second different card?

I plan on picking up the Evga GTX 970 Superclocked 4GB version for Christmas. (HERE) I currently have a EVGA GTX 650ti 1GB. I was wondering if it would give me a performance boost having both cards in my rig, or just take the 650 ti out? Thanks in advance! I am kind of new to the GPU side of computer building.

Solution
You can have both running, with the 970 as the primary card and the 650 Ti as a dedicated Physx card.

They will not work in SLI. The 650 Ti will do all the Physx work in games that support hardware accelerated Physx and let your 970 dedicate more resources to drawing more frames.

Not all games that feature Physx actually use hardware accelerated Physx.
