Do you think that this Desktop build is good and compatible? and if not what should i change and what should i add? my budget is 1000€(1250USD) and my build is:

CPU:Intel® Core™ i7-4790K Processor
(8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz)

GPU: ASUS GeForce® GTX 770 DirectCU II

Motherboard:Asus B85-PRO GAMER Intel Socket 1150

RAM:Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB (2X4 GB) PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3 240-Pin SDRAM

Power Supply:Tacens Mars Gaming MP800 – 800W

Chassis(i think it's called this way, sorry english is not my mother language): Cooler Master N300 -USB 3.0

Hard Drive: Seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200rpm 64MB SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5

Well this is what i have right now, please give me your opinions and what should i add to the list or what should i buy instead.

Thank you and waiting for answers.

Solution
If you bought the i7 because if its 4.0 base clock, I understand.
If you bought it for any other reason, then look at an i5. Modern games do not yet fully stress the i5.

If you really, absoluteyl must have four cores and Hyperthreading, and you are not going to overclock, consider a Xeon E3 1230 or better (they are essentially i7s with out the integrated GPU, which you will not be using) It will be cheaper.

You have selected a last generation motherboard which will need a BIOS update to run your CPU

Your power supply must be different. Your system will run just fine on 500W Find a Seasonic X or a be quiet powerzone or even antec Basiq. They are all better. Here's the list we use ...

Do you want to overclock your CPU? if not you can get a i7-4770 4790 , i5-4460 or equivalent. If yes, get a Z97 chipset motherboard.
Try to get a GTX 970 graphics card!
Avoid that powersupply, it uses bad internal components. Seasonic, XFX and Antec 550 Watt is plenty for your PC !

Nice mobo!
Powersupply NO, get XFX PRO/TS 550 watt or Seasonic 500/520/550 Watt :)

For the budget, you can easily get a good system with a GTX970.

I built this using de.pcpartpicker to get Euros (but German prices)

Well there is a problem because i looked into the specs of the motherboard and it only shows compatibility with the celeron and pentium.

Does the xeon you showed really "behave" like a i7? and does a i5 really "hold" against these powerful new games? and isn't a asus gpu worth it? because i never heard of zodac, but really liked your answer :)

but what do you recommend? the xeon or the i5? because the i5 even has better clock speed, that's why i ask, and thanks for everything

Dealing with various questions.

I chose the Zotacs because that's what's on the de.pcpartpicker site. I'd use an EVGA Superclocked ACX 2.0 or MSI myself (but that was not a choice)

Modern games, and games for the next year or two are unlikely to NEED an i7. They do not use the four real i5 cores yet. The only reason for an i7 is the top of the line model with the 4.0 GHz clock. It's about 15% faster than the best i5, but a lot more expensive.

The Xeon IS an i7. They are made from the same design with slightly different parts activated. For all I know, i7s that test bad with failed or below specification iGPUs get put into the Xeon bin. The specifications for the CPU part of the Xeon E3 123x are the same as the equivalent i7.

Clock speed means a only a little. 100Mhz is 3% or so improvement, and may not translate into even one FPS in gaming performance, as the benchmarks show.

Most modern games are intended to run on consoles, so they will not be super GPU intensive, except at insane resolution and monitor configurations.

Beyond three years, is over the event horizon, and I make no predictions, beyond the ability to make no predictions.

ty, i think i'll choose the i5 because it's less expansive but it's not decided yet so i guess ill think more about it, and thanks for the answer

as for the GPU i think ill be going with the Asus GTX970 STRIX OC Edition 4GB GDDR5, because i heard asus makes the best GPU cooling and stuff like that, but thanks anyway .
