dont know but i have constant ping up's when playing league of legends and internet is slower not like it was before with this mobo http://www.asrock.com/mb/amd/960gm-gs3%20fx/ ping was always 40ms now it varies from 40 to 700 i reinstalled windows but same problem again playing same league of legends game, and again heatsink beneath cpu http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/gallery/ does get very hot but heatsink on vrm's does not ant SB heatsink is cool.Another question is what does chipset drivers do? do i need to install them or not? Case is http://www.overclockers.com/win-griffin-case-review/ fans are 80mm at the back, 120mm psu fan near the back fan, then gpu has 2 fans, and cpu fan for tx3 front fan is not connected cuz wire lenght is too small

i'm not an expert on the 970 chipset i do however know quite a bit about the 990 chipset, which is safe up to boiling point i kid you not. I would imagine the 970 chipset is fine at whatever heat you're hitting

so motherboard isnt affecting my internet speed if lan drivers are installed because mobo is new, but my network is on wireless antenna "air grid" then cable goes in to my router, and from router to mobo, friend told me to plug in "wan" cable from "air grid" straight to computer but it did not helped, he was saying that my router could be bad but it worked well year and a half :??: i will try call my network provider

Like i stated earlier it's safe pretty close to boiling point, 95 degrees celcius i did a little digging that indicated the 970 and 990 have the same temp thresholds, if i can find where i found that info over a year ago i'll link it here.
