Here is my BUILD: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dL92Bm Please try to make a it very good quality for the price i am extremely comfortable for paying 150 for a motherboard.
check reviews n that bord. Asus z97-a. Has great reviews as far as testing goes but user reviews aren't real good. I was going to get hat board as well but after reading the reviews changed my mind. I reviewed so many boards I can't remember exactly what the issue was but I believe the boards were dying quickly, after 1 month of use or so. I do remember the most complaints came from long time asus users. Of course they could have had bad luck.
Not sure what is for you but I ended up going with an Asrock fatality z97 killer board, around $135.
In fact most boards I researched under $160 had a lot of complaints or very little reviews. Z97 is a relatively new platform so who knows. Could have been first boards to reach market still sitting in warehouses. Maybe the bad ones were rushed?
